Cancelling your stint causes us a lot of problems, and isn't fair on other students on our platform. There are a lot of people affected when students cancel Stints - our team is under pressure to find a replacement, another student has a rushed experience, and the business has a bad experience, compromising our relationship with them, and their relationship with you.
You wouldn't believe some of the excuses we have had for cancelling Stints last-minute. Here are some of our favourites:
“It was raining so I didn’t want to go”
“I forgot my wallet at home”
“My microwave has broken”
“My phone battery died when I was almost at the Stint, so I took it as a sign to turn back home and go to bed”
