If you can't make it to your Stint, you'll need to cancel through the app with as much notice as possible. Failing to do so will result in you receiving a strike(s).
The number of strikes you can receive each time is determined by how many hours you have left to go until the start time of the Stint within that 24-hour window.
But don’t worry - if you attempt to cancel in the app, we will let you know how many strikes you might incur if you follow through with cancelling.
Please note, while we understand some cancellations are unavoidable (and have a policy that recognizes this), it's really important to make sure that you have checked your schedule before accepting Stints. Avoidable cancellations will result in fewer Stint offers in the future and potentially being deactivated from the platform.
Remember to always let us know if you are not going to turn up to a Stint, not showing up and not canceling could result in you being deactivated from the platform as per our no-show policy.
Do businesses receive penalties if they cancel Stints as well? Yes - in the form of cancellation fees. If they cancel their Stints with less than 24 hours to go, they are charged a percentage of it (depending on what hour they cancel). Any Stinter that was assigned to those Stints under 24 hours, will receive a percentage as compensation. Please click here for more info.
